Hi everybody.

Ok, so it s probably a nob question.

I 'm looking for a replacement carburator for a sachs xtc 125 4 strokes.
I know its a MIKUNI BS 26 but i cannot found any online.
My main worry its to buy something that won t fit.
Is there similar one around ?

Thanks.

Now, why do you want to change the whole carburetor and not just do some cleaning and rebuilding? There are rebuild kits on ebay and elsewhere on the interweb.

To give you the answer, that you came here for, use ebay (or other places), type in: MIKUNI BS 26 and buy what you find there. Thumbs Up

It's the same carburettor as is used on the Suzuki FXR150. Robinsons Foundry hold the parts catalogue for the FXR I think and should be able to sell you a brand new carburettor, but it certainly won't be cheap.

They'll be plenty of Chinese copies of that carb available for cheap, but as said above if you already have a carb but it's not running right then strip it and clean it. You can then start sussing out what/which part/s are duff and buy replacements. Be careful buying full rebuild kits unless you know your bike is 100% factory bog standard, as the jets/needles that come in the kit may not be the right size for your requirements.

Take a picture of the carb. Hopefully there will also be a serial number.

Are you sure it's not a VM26?

OP, as above post a picture of your carb.

BS is a CV carb (flat top), VM is a slide carb (looks like a little chimney on top).

Will make a difference when ordering bits!

Threads passim suggest it's a CV carb rather than slide.

Tis' indeed a CV carb. I believe the correct Suzuki Part number is: 1320005314.

A few moons ago I had one of those Sachs Xt with it`s poxy little diaphragm carb.
Three Cross motorcycles in Dorset helped me with some parts including carb parts.
They might? be worth a call, however it was a good while back.
Have you looked at bikes like the Suzuki GZ 125?
I you can locate one of those in the breakers yard, you might find it`s very similar as it`s almost the same engine?
