Just wondering has any 1 ever fitted a ducati monster front end to a 97 cb 500 before if it'spossible and what machining ect I might b able to get a front end ccheap haven't been able to do any measurements yet just popped on here to check first ?

Unless someone has already done it, I wouldn't bother. It could be the forks are too short, too long or the headstock could just be too short for the spindle, or the spindle could be too short for the headstock.

Have you thought about updating the CB500 fork internals? They do race them, so there should be loads of upgrades available.
