I was trying to navigate my way around Gants Hill this morning and heard there was a fatal collision with a biker fatality at Newbury Park.
Got home this evening and found out it was this:

https://www.ilfordrecorder.co.uk/news/motorcyclist_dies_and_man_arrested_after_rush_hour_crash_on_a12_1_4760710

The driver will probably do a course on speed and get on with his life.

RIP Unknown Dude.

Saw this from a few bikers friends on FB too. My wife used to live just round the corner from there, I was a regular rider across that junction.

Sad times.

Turns out the biker was stationary at the lights when the car who was racing another car rear ended him and ended up in the middle of the junction.

I know a guy that lives close by, he said peoples witnessed it.
Driver got carted off pretty briskly, so it must have been pretty bad.

Counterpoint: the driver actually stopped at the scene.

Damaged radiator may have forced this.
