Why not buy a £5 jacket from flea-bay and cut a patch off it, glue and stitch it on. Or take it to a sewing place like https://www.atlantic.uk.net if your not up to stitching it yourself.

Try local shoe repairers, they often have beefy old singer sewing/patching machines that can stitch textile properly.

I do some of my own repairs with a hand cranked singer and bonded nylon thread.

These ladies repair leathers: https://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/
and, unlike their competitors (Scott leathers, BKS, etc) AFAIK they are the only ones with their own range of textile: https://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/hideout-leather-hi-pro

I am not sure if they repair textile (I understand that's harder to repair than leather).

However:

1) They are between Stansted and Cambridge
2) I agree that, unless it's a top of the range Rukka, Klim, BMW, etc, I'm not sure it's worth repairing
