So....

The return of Hammond, May and Clarkson.... your opinions?

Its good to see the guys back, but it would have been nice to see something new and creative rather than just Top Gear rehashed, the new track isn't as interesting as the old one and the lack of a stig is dissapointing.....

I have little interest in cars, if its a load of amusing old bollocks
I shan't complain.

I am struggling to be bothered.
They were good.
Now they are trying to be good again.
Pointless rehashing old success, it's never the same.
They should go their own ways and do their own projects.

And the we'll be like gypsies except the cars we're driving will be insured line Laughing The Grand Tour's like old Top Gear but with a few tweaks, so far for the better (like dropping the celebrity bollocks).

I really enjoyed it. I assumed they'd have to come back with a bang, and expected the P1/La Ferrari/918 test. The BBC should have done this if they wanted people to warm to that ginger tw@.

Well I loved it, felt fresh but had enough to retain it`s original appeal that kept Millions upon Millions of viewers for a good decade,

For any car fan the 3 car shootout was something we have wanted for a while now,

As I used to say to the old TG haters, if you dont like it just dont watch it, life couldnt be any simpler . . .

I loved it. From the start where he left the BBC to the drive into the desert I thought it was really good. Got a bit silly and a few moments where I thought it was a bit OTT. But I saw why they done it. They probably cannot use the star in the car format so they killed off the stars to prevent it, felt a lot like a dig at the BBC without mentioning them.

Same with the News section.

The rest was like they never left. I enjoyed TG with the trio, this did feel a little less scripted and a lot more relaxed in places, Like top gear used to be.

I thought the start was very well done, being Clarkson he could have let his ego take charge(as he normally does)
The actual footage was fantastically done, this was Action Movie type stuff, all for 3 old blokes . . .

The drag race was a bit naff, they only have to react to the lights and let launch control do its thing Confused I believe the 918's the quickest (being 4wd).

But the All Electric drag was was the best . . .
this is the kind of "stupid" thing you expect, a bit like a large truck in a daft place.

The first episode was mostly just one giant middle finger to the Beeb. With the nail painted bright red.

Choice of song on the intro, the whole scale of the performance, the comment about abusing horses and especially the presence of the LaFerrari. Pretty sure Ferrari refused to allow it to appear on Top Gear.

Also, the name is growing on me as it's much cleverer than it first appeared.

So does this contain bad language?

Any nudity or violence?

Plan to watch it tomorrow am but the child is likely to be about, rather not watch stuff that's inappropriate for her.

All the bad swear words are bleeped, there is a single s**t that makes it in.

They said before it aired that they want to keep it family friendly.
