i have a speedfight 100 and i was having electrica problems and found this...relay? resistor?

any hep be appreciated

it has two white wires that connects to it

its like a little breeze block with a wire/coil going through it

First glance says it's an overexposed, poorly focused pic
of something like say, a 2 input ballast resistor if that white stuff
is ceramic.
Poor pic and contextual info makes it hard to guess further

My phone is very poor in picture quality sorry.

Yes it has a ceramic shell, but obviously most broken away leaving chalky type texture. Can I use something else in its place?

Here's one from a Suzuki Burgman which looks very similar
I'd bung that on if I couldn't get a pukka one as they're there to protect the lights from over voltage due to the poor regulation of the AC lights.
The one you have may not be original and actually from a burgervan for all well know, as stuff like this often gets chopped and changed
in a workshop.

Edit:
just seen Andys post, that may well do
the issue is the resistance, 1.5 ohms may a a bit low and pull the
voltage down on a lighting system, not sure.

Get a meter, RTFM and check diagram
