After two years, they are back with more power: 201 bhp (previously: 170 bhp) and 143 Nm (previously: 98 Nm) and tons of carbon bits and adjustable parts. They still use the VFR 1200 engine, severely tuned, with new internal parts. Other bits stayed quite the same.
The traction control and quickshifter come as standard now. The carbon fiber composite bits (body panels, wheels) are saving about 65% of weight of the original parts.
Selling price: £47,000
*The original Ace was a limited series motorcycle (50 units). Apparently, it was also a huge success, as they've already sold them all.

I'd have one, then sell it and buy a couple of bikes and pocket the remaining £40k. Fugly parts bin top trump mobile. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

More power bet less weight, so for that aspect the shaft will be at less stress - at least when not using the full power ... which in reality isn't going to be that often probably because at lower speeds it'll wheelie and higher speeds where you need the power to overcome wind you'll be putting a lot of effort into holding on yourself.
Still, I'd have preferred them to throw carbon at a litre sports bike that already makes that sort of power - but that's not what people with £50k to spend are so interested in vs a shiny status symbol I would guess . |

Nicely bonkers.
I'd have preferred to see a square 4 though. Maybe graft a couple of ER6s together or something. That or a totally batshit mental long-stroke single.
Gotta have that unique selling point and as a 1200 V4 shaftie, it'll always be a modded honda. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

Standard fitment for the VFR12 is a 190 rear. Seeing as it uses the same running gear at the rear I'm betting the Ace will accommodate the same.
Interestingly the VFR is restricted in the lower two gears to (presumably) protect the shaft drive. Wonder if they kept the restriction.. ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F
