Say i get an arrow or micron exhaust, but just the actual visable shiney bit, not sure what it is called, how easy is it to fit onto my original pipe!!! Sorry if the technical terms are not upto scratch!!! hehehe

I think you mean changing the end can. Well yes you could fit a different can, and i think that DEP and MIG sell silencers for your original expansion chamber, that can be fitted to your std pipe. The gains are minimal, as bhp will not be increased by much if at all, so your only benefits are a better sound and better looks along with maybe a kilo or two less weight than the original.
For real power gains you need a performance expansion chamber, like the Arrow or Giannelli system.
