Anyone replaced the OE hoses with the silicone type? Mine might need repacing but I dont reallly want to touch it as the radiator pipes look corroded.

14 years and 80k miles is probably pushing my luck on the originals.

Probably not really. Don't think I have ever replaced a cooling hose on a bike, and only rarely in cars. I would do it on a case by case basis.

All the best

I'd agree with this. I changed mine because I had a leak near the pump otherwise it'd still be on originals. Smile

The radiator hose has a build up of crusty green shmoo, which is the same colour as my coolant. I would like to avoid my bike shitting coolant while Im riding it. Radiator and pump connections do not look good, nothing wrong with middle of the hose.

Hi

Bit of residue from leaks is probably not unusual. Damage to the ends isn't good but depends on what the damage is

All the best
