TL/DR: lots of miles, 12 months MOT, 4 good tyres, no major problems, well under a grand if you make me an offer Wink
What's not to like?!

BRAND NEW MOT!!!
BMW 530i SE 2000 X-reg
I bought this car well over a year ago when I needed an automatic in a hurry after breaking my wrist in a bike crash. It was only supposed to be for a few weeks, but I liked it so much that I've ended up keeping it for a good while!

Miles: 149912, possibly rising a bit as in occasional use
MOT until 29th Nov 2017

Good points:
I've sorted a lot of the common E39 problems:
Aux fan replaced.
Headlight adjusters replaced.
Nice bright LED bulbs in angel eyes.
ABS module repaired.
Intermittent wipe relay replaced.
Hedgehog replaced (BMW OEM part).
Pixel repair on both dash and MID done.
Flexible wiring to boot repaired.

Also:
4 good Michelin CrossClimate tyres.
Recent replacment windscreen (rain sensing wipers still work fine).
Aero wipers (only about 8 weeks old).
Ice cold aircon.
Working cruise control.
No problems with reverse on the gearbox.
2 green blobs before next service.

I have the original tape deck/radio and 6 CD changer, no idea if they work mind, as I immediately converted it to take a single DIN stereo. This required a fair bit of work to allow the MID to be fitted at the same time. I will be keeping my stereo, but I will include the wiring adaptor ISO-to-BMW so it will be easy to fit your own in. I also have the telephone black box; I was told it just needed a sim when I bought the car but again no idea if it really works. It did have various messages flashing on the handset before I pulled the controller.

Bad points:
As you'd expect from an older car, it uses a little bit of fluids, nothing major.
It's a bit surface rusty at all 4 sill ends - seems solid enough though.
The temp needle points a bit low as it ended up in the wrong place when I fixed the pixels; unlocking the OBC shows the temps are running right, so exactly where the needle points doesn't really matter.
Cup holders broken (like most of the other E39s...)
The body work is dented, scraped and generally every panel has something on it. I've priced the car to reflect this; please don't expect any sort of perfection or discount. Obviously, this doesn't affect the running of the car at all... I also quite like not having to care where it's parked!
One parking sensor (left rear) only works occasionally, which switches off the whole system.

This car is quiet, comfy and refined. It'll cruise all day at any speed without complaint; but put it into Sport and squeeze and it'll pick up its skirts and fly Smile
