I’m guessing if we get a new leader, the cabinet will look a bit different too. Hopefully with less people who voted Remain.

The UK is, categorically, not the biggest buyer in Europe
It quite clearly, states that in the sales figures, I linked to, that:-

We’re the second biggest buyer of passenger cars, behind Germany and the second biggest buyer of commercial vehicles in Europe, just behind France.
We’re huge buyers, not sellers. Phillips and All the other German manufacturers will want to keep its U.K. sales, even if this won’t fit your Remain agenda. Moving all production out of the U.K. would put them at a disadvantage to those who move production here to supply the huge U.K. market.

Are you guessing this or do you have anything remotely accurate to back this up?
I share an office with the freight clearance firm who clear all their imports and exports through Dover and several other ports.
Either way, you can't deny that the UK buys considerably more stuff from the EU than they buy from us.
As a result, if we leave the single market, they stand to lose out on free trade, far more than us.
If they want to remain competitive in the UK market, which no matter how much the Remoan camp like to play down the size of, is one of the biggest single markets in Europe, they'll need to move UK production and/or supply chain here to avoid import tariffs.
If people stopped pissing and moaning about Brexit, it could actually be very good for the UK economy. There is no other country in Europe which is less suited to being a member of a trading bloc designed to benefit the huge manufacturing powerhouses of Germany, France and Italy.

I provided a link for you, I even quoted from it, but apparently that's not good enough.
As far as Philips Group is concerned, total EU sales are just lumped in with the "other countries" bracket, sales are that small. Their biggest markets are the US, China and India. US sales alone are greater than all those in the "other countries" bracket! |

Does the UK export or import more Phillips goods? Think for a minute, what difference that might make if we left the single market and all their production was outside of the UK.
