Predictions for the vote?

I’ll go for the establishment fuddling the vote so May’s Remain in all but name deal, wins by less than 10 votes. I’m going for a 7 vote fiddle.

She'll lose... badly.

Apparently some MPs will abstain. WTF!?

My prediction; May loses the vote (obviously), Corbyn chickens out of stepping up to the plate, May can only go back and ask the EU to give us more time (requiring a unanimous vote from them), they say no and it's too late, the default kicks in and we're standing outside in the cold. Later it turns out that's not a bad place to be.

There's the John Bercow factor to take into account.

I'm not making any predictions on the results yet other than it's going to be very close, maybe 48% against 52%. Laughing

The institution would never let that happen, as appealing as it is to the majority.

I'm thinking these "decision makers" are so effin useless they'll continue to prevaricate, disagree, enact nothing and we'll simply go out by default on 29th March. It's not a case of letting it happen, it's finding a concensus to do something else. Maybe they won't.

I saw the amendment rejection first, and thought it was the actual vote. Laughing

Get rid of May and go for a FTA with additional protections for workers rights etc.

The amendments were just a waste of time as the main motion was always going to fail. He should have withdrawn it like Corbyn and the others did with theirs.

This is bad. Only 202 members in the House, or perhaps 230, support Brexit.

There is going to be trouble.

Only 200 support the fudge. The rest either back a proper Brexit or want to block Brexit.

Well, we can see how close to reality that prediction was, ummm, I guess, by simple extrapolation, we, can now see how realistic your predictions about how rosy everything would be if we leave with no deal will be.. Yes, finger on the pulse there old bean Laughing Laughing Laughing

Your prediction of a fiddle, was, erm..., a little wide of the mark !! Laughing Laughing Laughing

May has cobbled some fudge this evening to be read by all the government tonight.

Ermm....Brexit Deal - if you think you need to read the actual 400 pages deal to know it's much worst that our current EU membership you really need help. Fact.

What now?

- Cabinet backs deal Chequered Flag Check
- Parliament rejects deal Chequered Flag Check
- Lab calls vote of no confidence, loses TBC
- Markets tank TBC
- Gilt yields rise TBC
- Theresa "the broken promise" May offers referendum on Remain/No deal TBC

UK stays in the EU and recovers the £60 billions losses 2022. 2025 everything is as it was 2015. Almost. Minus the OAPs that voted for this BS 2016.

HTH

Coughs...I told you so Laughing

Apparently I am always right eh Wink

So that's the worst defeat since who and when?? Must be 100 years..

What a fucking mess. This, everyone, is how good they are at the job = shit at it. Self-serving spiteful party humping fuck the population wankers.
I'm angry. Someone mentioned protests? There will be people who will cause silent bother. People who will cause misery to the country by working alone or in small very organised pods. I can think of 3 major things I could do that if caught I'd never be released from custody ever.

And now she is going to work with Labour remainers to go for an even softer Brexit and claim she didn't have any other choice. The EU and May's government are working together to fool the audience (the British people). It's all one big show.
