If A.50 is put back, I think there will be about 56 anti-EU MEPs, which will be interesting. The UK will be a fifth column inside the EU.

Nice to see our international trade secretary still hasn't managed to get anything resembling any trade deals lined up yet to replace any of the 40 current trade deals in place via the EU

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46917999

Not exactly lining up to do deals are they ...

Quote:
International Trade Secretary Liam Fox said he "hoped" they would but it depended on whether other countries were "willing to put the work in".

Or to translate, most other countries just can't be arsed to deal with a little country that doesn't have the same scale as a trading block such as the EU..

So, once again, the brexit pushers, and to be fair Liam Fox is one of teh bigger supporters for brexit, and even he can't put a positive spin on this, are once again shown to be delusional dreamers.

You should be able to do better than that.

The BBC is talking about FTAs in the event of "no deal".

Yoiu are making an unwarrantable generalisation.

Val reminds me of one of those gay bashing religionists who cherry picks some obscure line which suggests being gay is bad, and then ignores all the other parts that he doesn't like such as "don't go around hating people", "be nice to others" which contract his argument.

Val, the religionist wacko.

Who was it who thought a No Deal Brexit wasn't a popular choice?

Even with Al Beeb's agenda driven audience selection, it looked like the vast majority of QT's audience back it.

That audience were more hardcore Brexiteers than Isabel Oakeshott. What we think happened is that they mixed up the list of Tories who are banned from question time with the list of liberals they intended to invite and ended up using the wrong list.

I don't find that surprising at all, and that backs up my experience around the time of the referendum, which was what lead me to question the media saying we were going to (vote) remain.

It has been twisted into gammon destroying the future of young people, but most young people I know can see that insane competition for jobs and housing impacts them a lot more.

I agree although I'm kinda glad we don't have Fox News (Smile), however I have a question on the last point. I know one of Blair's speech writers (?) came out and said Blair deliberately boosted immigration, if that's the case why haven't the Tories been able to bring it back under control?

One further question, as we're coming up to 9 years of a Tory (ok mainly coalition) government, with Labour seemingly a long way off getting back in... did boosting the amount of Labour voters work? Smile

From what I remember the Tories kept selecting fairly unelectable leaders, until Labour went Brown > Ed' > Corbyn Pale

It's how fuckwits like Khan get elected

After 8 years of Bojo Thinking Zac Goldsmith ran a car crash of a campaign, and even lost his seat as an MP before getting it back again.

Anyway the next London mayoral election will be diversity on diversity, and although there's a lot of hate for Khaaan, diversity Conservative candidates never seem to do well.

For the last time angry gammon is not a race. You can ungammon by stop hating immigrants.

What do you mean twisted the old gammons really are destroying the future of the young. And they have admitted it.

71% of 65+ of the gammons are so angry they are fine ot destroy their own familiy to get Brexit:
