You can if you're Robert Thompson, or Jon Venables.
Unless you drop a bollock by bragging to your girlfriend about it, and then the state has to buy you another new identity.

It provided a wonderful Brexit related example actually.

Notice all those British people they were interviewing, saying how they go to Paris all the time and love all the wonderful culture and architecture? Those are the metropolitan liberal elite European citizens who hate Brexit. They are so out of touch that they wonder why ordinary working class Brexit voters don't also go to Paris 5 times a year like they do. I've literally been asked this by remainers and they said they thought these people would vote remain if they went to European cities several times a year like they did Laughing

Nothing could ever enter or leave the country after a Brexit. It’s a Remain FACT.

It happened here. The Cutty Sark caught fire due to a vacuum cleaner.

Apparently it's not the first time recently that Notre Dammes has been targeted by Muslims, nor is it the first attack by Muslims on Christian or Catholic churches or priests in recent times.

No doubt it will be blamed on an innocent electrical fault or similar to not upset the Allah cart, but you can't help but wonder.

LEFT-CENTER BIAS

And? You forgot the rest:

These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes. These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Left-Center sources.

Overall, we rate The Guardian Left-Center biased based on story selection that moderately favors the left and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing and a clean fact check record.
Detailed Report
Factual Reporting: HIGH
Country: United Kingdom
World Press Freedom Rank: UK 40/180

You can even use right-leaning sources as long as you do not have your blinkers on (but fuck them tbh). I have stated before it is about giving you the facts as descriptively as possible, the normative claims and statements built upon them are where you get the ideology informing the reporting which is where you start to understand the manipulation of the writing. but many people do not seem to understand that base distinction.

Another very simple thing to remember is not all articles are equal, and again many do not seem to comprehend this. Always check whether it is an opinion piece https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_piece

Check these out for posterity:

Our most popular press is garbage.

The guardian aint bad, not perfect. Here is one of the best https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/financial-times/

Factual reporting of selected stories means they still don't necessarily discuss the other side of the coin, so they're not even-handed. I applaud the avoidance of fake news and conspiracy theories if that's what the paper does. However, too many "reports" these days are simply opinion pieces published to persuade the reader. Give me ALL the facts, the counter-arguments, the evidence, then I'LL decide what to believe.

Besides, it was The Guardian which reported there were 2 million in the Remain march in London last month, hastily revised down to 1 million, yet crowd analysis experts subsequently reported it as between 300,000 - 400,000.

Or it could be that the left really is more dependable. Not saying it is, just offering another angle. But yes, any website purporting to make an unbiased assessment needs to demonstrate its own absence of bias, which is hard to do.

I think its well known that "fact checkers" are basically just a front for left wing groups to fabricate "evidence" against right wing new stories. Rarely do they find left wing groups to have lied, even though "leading beyond authority" is one of their favourite tactics Laughing

For example a fact checker could find the lowest possible estimate of something like immigration, and then claim all higher figures claimed by any conservative are "fake news".

I've watched this for years, forget left or right, the UK has had its feet set in concrete, and about to be pushed overboard.
Never believe a politician; what you read in the papers; watch on the TV, or hear on the radio. They are all under the thumb of seriously big money - the corporations that rule the World. Seek out John Perkins on You Tube "Confessions of an economic hit man". You'll get the picture.

There are a few good souls in parliament, and I would put Bill Cash amongst them. The rest are clueless.

Brexit? They'll not let us leave, but they'll have a fight on their hands.

Suggested reading as a starter for 10: "Theresa May, double agent", parts 1,2 & 3.

The left is much more biased, but they are way smarter about how they do it. They avoid headline points that can be easily challenged. Go watch some episodes of "BBC Click" and see if you can spot the subtle theme.
