Given the referendum was near enough 50/50

Except that it wasn't so simple in terms of numbers voting, and if you consider the result there's a big difference, which does not suit antidemocrats. There's also the fact that the result was taken up by parliament as a whole, being legitimised and mandeted by an absolutely huge margin.

even before a manifesto and candidates have been announced, TBP has been ahead of the last 3 GE voting intention polls in the UK. Thumbs Up

What if the opposite is true?

YouGov 10 Jun: 26%, 1st place.
ComRes 9 Jun: 22%, 3rd place.
BMG 7 Jun: 18%, 3rd place.

But of course, majority want no deal Laughing

Online opinion polls like those are an inaccurate waste of time.

Irony of someone using polls to back up a weak argument, when all he does is criticise others who post up polls. Priceless.

Meanwhile, the issue of immigration.

The Unicorn Delivery Party Ltd wrote:

There is no brexit but Hard Brexit. Nigel is the bringer of Brexit.

After Brexit we will kick out the foreigners whence they came from, and they will sit there and buy our Greatest Brexitish goods under FTA our might will impose on them, without ever approaching our hallowed shores!

Enter reality:

Foreign Affairs Committee wrote:
most post-Brexit trade deals will require a relaxation of current immigration policy
[...]
The FCO should ensure that the goal of improving the overall relationship with India is woven into the broader Government migration policy. It should push for reforms to make it easier for India’s skilled workers, students, and tourists to enter the UK. This should include offering Indian nationals a bespoke multiple-entry visa on at least equivalent terms to those available to Chinese nationals, and steps to facilitate the movement of skilled Indian professionals for short-term projects. In its response to this report, the FCO should set out its assessment of how far proposals in the Immigration White Paper would meet this goal, and the actions it is taking to feed the outcomes of the recent UK-India Migration Dialogue into the policymaking process. The Government should urgently review its policies towards Indian students, particularly the decision to exclude them from the “low risk” list. It should commit to increasing the post-study visa available to international students to cover at least two years

There's a unicorn stuck inside your head and it's galloping around farting wildly into the empty void and filling it with dung.

Seriously, where did this unicorn stuff come from? It's only the intellectually challenged at both extremes of opinion that I've heard using such stupid words.

Consider that a rhetorical question.

Anyhow it really doesn't matter who voted what and who will be the next PM.

Linking to a half hour Tony Blair propaganda video? Good luck with that one.

That is the good thing about the reality - doesn't matter who explains it and do you like Tony Blair or not.

Johnson is all over again with the whole BS about "we hold all cards", 39blns, the German car manufactures and Italian prosecco producers are running scared now...

EU doesn't give a flying fuck who is UK's PM. And have said that multiple times. Last time Tusk and few other countries have saved your sorry ass with long extension against Macron advice, to give the UK some time to sort its shit. They were wrong. Instead of sorting its shit the UK has wasted the time completely.

Means there will be no more extensions on 31 Oct. No Deal is very likely outcome now. But not because of Johnson, because EU will not give any new extension. It's against EU interest to have never ending Brexit. UK must decide:

1. WA the way it is.
2. No Deal.
3. Cancel Brexit.

Who will be the next PM?

Johnson. I am conservative party member and will vote for him. So that the moron face the reality and his won Brexit lies and fail miserably. And fail he will. Let that bright news sinks about reality with you...

The problem here is that UK wants 2 mutually exclusive things:
1) Maintain GFA.
2) Exit the customs union.

These things cannot coexist; it is like wanting to dig a ditch across the driveway, but still be able to park the car there.

Still, UK insists that it can have a ditch AND park the car at the same time; all that needs to be done is to invent a unicorn-powered levitating car that will hover over the ditch, along with levitating shoes to get in and out of the car, and a levitating shopping bag to put in shopping taken out the boot. Such contraption is called a "technical solution".

EU, along with anyone else with 2 brain cells, knows that no such car exists, nor will they exist in near future. So they insist that until the levitating devices are actually extant, no ditch will be dug.
