There could be an EU customs border around the whole of Ireland. That would be a win!

Interesting amalgamation of the polls into a guess at possible seats taken. Not sure how representative of truth but looks like a prediction of the UKIP result from a few years ago:

That is indeed what could happen. However, just as when the UKIP took all the votes it did, there was a very large knock-on effect since these were lost to other parties.

This effect will be much larger with the advent of the Brexit party.

EDIT: https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2019/06/26/voting-intention-brex-22-con-22-lab-20-lib-dem-19-

Voting Intention: Brex 22%, Con 22%, Lab 20%, Lib Dem 19% (24-25 June)

I believe this is the source. Interesting, if not new, to look at 1st choice + 2nd choice to discover what could be acceptable to most people:

EEA: 15+50 = 66
Remain: 43+7 = 50
Deal: 13+32 = 45
No deal: 28+11 = 39

If we sum 1st + 2nd + 3rd to see what would be acceptable at a stretch:
EEA: 15+50+29 = 94
Deal: 13+32+48 = 93
Remain: 43+7+8 = 58
No deal: 28+11+15 = 44

Even though we are still members, those pesky Frogs and Krauts are keeping all the good weather for themselves.

When we leave we can have the good weather without having to rely on them to supply it. Folded arms

Ireland doesn't count, it's always dismal over there.

Forecast to reach 45C in France. That's not weather, that's an oven setting. They can have it.

A few days passed and no one mentioned the Mercosul deal? Surely that's another reason why we should ditch the FAILING EU after it got the FINAL nail in its coffin, and sail on proudly to our glorious FTA with Belize?

It does seem curious that there has been a rash of deals since the referendum when there seemed little urgency beforehand. It's all about giving the impression economic survival is dependant on a commitment to ever closer political union.

I heard recently that tax exile oil workers use the irish border to get in and out of the UK. They fly in to the republic of Ireland from Abu Dhabi then just drive into the UK.

No comments about TBP MEP's refusing to stand to attention for the EUSSR Anthem then?

How about rather than turning up, claiming their expenses and receiving their salary then refusing to take part, their protest would be less hypocritical if they stayed at home instead and donated whatever they receive to charity...

Why? The go there and do the job even if it isn't the job the establishment think they should and get paid by the EU which is absolutely fine by me.

Now Corbyn and the Abbopotamus stealing a wage for being pro immigrant/Pakistani/black/BAME/LGBTWXYZ and any other groupas long as it isn't white British yet being paid by 'us' to put 'our' view forward, I'd laugh if it wasn't so sickening.

There may be more effective ways of disrupting proceedings than turning their backs, if that is indeed their sole purpose for attending (not the money, clearly....).

What about stink-bombs and whoopie cushions? Or humming 'Deutschland Uber Alles' during lulls in the debates? They could even hide rotting fish behind radiators....
