Seriously, read more! All your comments are contradicted by the article but you want to believe something different. The proposals look very fair.

The only enemy I have in this forum is BNP72 - the BS the loser writes just doesn't make any sense Laughing

Guys like him make a bad name for BNP and all ignorant racist bigots.

Anyhow back on the leaving EU negotiations subject:

Davis just has said in the parliament:

"formal steps" being taken to leave EEA (ie Article 127).

Two problems here if that is true that means the government has lied in front of the High Court.

The second one - the EEA High Court case will open anyway.

BTW notification is 12 months. And the current High Court case has been postponed on the grounds the government has not taken yet the decision how to leave EEA.

Well the time is now. Brace yourself for new lost court case from this incompetent government. The irony is because its EU law most likely the UK court will ask ECJ Smile

ROFL

You are making it sound like we care if any laws are broken in leaving the EU.

Ahh yes, destroy any trust we may have remaining in the world, that's a great idea just before you try to negotiate with everyone else.

Of course, the usual rabid pinkos piled into him screeching "You created these Nazis! Die, Poundshop Hitler!" without the slightest self awareness of whose behaviour created Farage.

I am starting a new series. Probably will write a book at some point too. Will keep it shorter for now.

Epic Tales of Brexit (sfw):

How Juncker eats the cake that UK already had.

Moral of the story: better cake in the hand than unicorn in the ass!

Never mind that Juncker's proposals depend on the support of member states (Germany above all) to become a reality.

Laughing It'll never happen then, because Germany wouldn't want to be in charge of a European Super State. Thinking

EU started a trade deal with Australia and NZ.

Quote:
Australia's historical relationship with the UK is now one of "yesteryear," the country's trade minister told the European Parliament today, as he stressed that doing a free trade deal with the EU was now a greater priority for Australia than doing one with post-Brexit UK.

"I see the European Union FTA [free trade agreement] as certainly commencing formal negotiations well and truly prior to anything that might happen with the UK," Steve Ciobo told MEPs this morning.

He added that: "The UK and Australia of course do have a historical relationship, but it’s in many respects a relationship of yesteryear."

Ciobo, who met for talks with trade secretary Liam Fox earlier this week, said any negotiations with the UK could only begin once Brexit had been completed.

The right-wing conservative party, GERB, which gained the most votes in the Bulgarian parliamentary elections last month, has agreed to form a coalition with an alliance of fascist parties known as United Patriots (UP).

Link. That text is over a year old.

This from 2 days ago,
Quote:
European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker announced in Strasbourg on Wednesday that he was launching negotiations with Australia and New Zealand on a deal with the EU – giving the 27-nation bloc at least a year's head start on UK negotiators.
It's just typical nasty Juncker trying to put the boot into Brexit. Marvel at the pace of EU negotiations and ask yourself why they're only now looking for such deals outside EU borders.

Meanwhile in the real world, while the Brexiters are waiting for the german carmakers to save the Brexiters from themselves, the german carmakers are preparing for Hard Brexit.

Quote:

"Matthias Wissmann, head of the German Automotive Association, said contingency plans were being formed to deal with a possible failure of Brexit negotiations in the next 18 months."

"Britain is very important for us, but the EU27 is even more important for us, as a market and as a political concept...

If the UK continues with the Brexit BS the Rolls will move to Munich.

Oh the irony Laughing Laughing Laughing

Oh, you.

Let's read the real world article being "cited" shall we?

Fritz wrote:
We’re already revising the logistics channels for the U.K., so that we’ll be able to manage the coming border, whichever duties will be in place in the end. We’re enabling our suppliers so they’ll be able to export to the U.K.

Where's the part where he talks about moving production to Germoney?

IMO the shit will hit the fan very soon.

UK economy to slow rapidly in 2018 as hard Brexit looms, OECD forecasts
Infaltion is raising fast
Employers' confidence in the UK economy hits lowest level since Brexit
UK house prices fall for fifth month in a row

May preparing completely useless speech trying to shift the blame to the EU.

What can go wrong here eh?

Actually the UK has not left yet.

I will get back to this post March 2019.

"Britain is very important for us, but the EU27 is even more important for us, as a market and as a political concept...so we do the utmost to support anyone who keeps Britain as close as possible to the EU.
But if you ask me for priorities: keeping the EU27 together is even more important than to keep Britain nearby, so let the British government be convinced that they have to build a bridge."

https://www.skynews.com.au/news/politics/international/2017/09/13/german-industry-preparing-for-hard-brexit.html

Let that sink in.

Means ze Germans are ready for hard Brexit.

Let's hope May and Davis have good plans for that too.

I am not holding my breath here Laughing
