I used the term 'muppet' to describe whoever came up with the pointless and expensive idea of changing the passports, not those who voted to leave.

Which is everyone who voted to leave the EU. You can't keep an EU passport when you''re no longer in the EU. It has to happen.

How many more times? Laughing

You're so full of shit you could keep the entire quota of EU farmers in manure indefinitely. When I voted to Leave, I didn't vote 'to change the colour of the passport'. And I'm sure simpleton's like yourself, whose first baww was 'immigrants' definitely had a colour change in mind. Moron.

Nah, I did it because I don't like the Fr*nch. When that frog eating bastard came on TV saying how it'd be a stupid thing, or whatever he said, I thought fuck him and the rest of the cheese eating surrender monkeys.

I'm pretty sure those that voted to leave didn't do so specifically get a blue passport. The question of 'passport' didn't feature in any of Boris/Gove's propaganda from what I recall, so unless there was an example of mass-telepathy....

From .gov.uk:

"To save the taxpayer money, the newly designed passports will be introduced in a phased approach.

After the UK leaves the EU, burgundy passports will continue to be issued but with no reference to the European Union.

New blue and gold passports will be issued from October 2019, when the new passport contract begins, to those renewing or applying for a new passport."

I don't see what the fuss is all about - bit of a non-story.

Shamelessly shared from order-order.com

order-order wrote:
Among all the predictions of doom and recession the remainers and economists got wrong they were right about one in 2016 – the pound did fall 15% after the vote. This was not unexpected, Leave backing donors like hedge fund manager Crispin Odey figured that out and traded accordingly. The pound was widely seen as over-valued.

The pessimism on the pound continued into 2017, HSBC predicted it would hit parity with the €uro, Remain backing investment bank Morgan Stanley toppped that with a prediction that the € would surge past parity to be worth £1.02. Brexit-backing economist Roger Bootle’s firm Capital Economics stuck their neck out at the same time and said the £ would finish at €1.13. The pound ended the year at €1.12…

Goldman Sachs’ CEO Lloyd Blankfein has been outspoken against Brexit, his firm forecast sterling would fall from $1.25 to $1.14 in 2017. In fact, it has risen to $1.35. Goldmans also forecast that the 10-year gilt yields that determine government borrowing costs would rise from 1.28% to 1.65%. They fell to 1.19%…

We were told that banks would leave the City last year, there has been no such exodus, London still has more international banks than any other financial centre in the world. We were told that foreign investors would shuna UK poised to Brexit, yet inward Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) hit a record high in 2017, dwarfing all other EU countries. The experts were absolutely wrong.

These same Remain supporting investment banks and international institutions are now predicting that Britain’s GDP will plummet outside the EU. Ironically official figures have just been revised up putting UK GDP growth up with Germany. UK and French GDP has ben neck and neck for years, France is actually ahead currently. Guido will wager that in a decade the UK’s GDP will actually be greater than that of France. Any takers among economic experts?

Just a bit of fun. Think how Great Britain will be again when Brexit is finally cancelled.

So let me get this straight. The UK government are going to resolve UK food insecurity by increasing UK food insecurity by producing less in the UK and accepting more non EU imports?

Jawohl!

The scandal isn't that we've lost a few sheet tuckers, it's that it took so long to insist on them being able to speak some rudimentary phrases like "No, I'm not scheduled for surgery today."

Don't you remember? 2007 or something when the UK had a really hard winter. Felixstowe was closed for a few days supermarkets started running low on their fast moving stock.

I had a similar argument with ISIS72 a few months ago. Supermarkets have moved so much to just in time processes that they have about 4-5 days of stock on hand.

Civilisation of course is three meals away from revolution. The UK population with it's high super addictive sugar content food consumption might turn to cannibalism quite quickly.

Some of the wealthier areas might be fairly civil about it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJjUS6uv0_E

The blud sort of areas may be less pleasant.
