Your “ideological side”?! Couldn’t be arsed to vote then, but now you have an opinion?

Tough. Too late now.

I'm really not sure how to reply to that other than "ok?" I already stated what I think is likely to actually happen to Ste? You know this is just noise right. I'm trying to not be a c**t but you are a bit odd fella.

What - so you are stating that we did have a vote when we joined the EU?

No? If you really want me to try to lay out an argument from a praxis built from there I could have a try but that is not what interests me at this point.

You couldnt even be bothered to vote, now you want to lecture those of us who did, on how our vote should be devalued or nullified.

Can you not see the hypocrisy in that?

Again, I'm at a loss. That is just noise, you are not saying anything of substance to me.

Let me ask you something and it is not a gotcha. Do you believe that the way someone voted or the abstinence of said vote reflects in anyway on the validity or soundness of an argument as presented by said person?

Or another way, if Jean Claude Juncker whatever his name is was to present an argument for or against, does the fact he presented it make it invalid or unsound?

That was the EU's mistake. They went for the wrong Jean Claude. If they'd gone for Van Damme, the EU would have kicked ass!

Meanwhile all left and right Brexit fascists are like:

Anybody who refuses to believe in it is a traitor.

It's worth it. It may take 50-100 years give or take, but they are doing it for the children.

Duh...obviously: no-one can live 150 Shocked

I think boris would have "kissed ass" and quite possibly done something unreportable. I don't think he is suitable for any public office.

I think Val is a Bulgarian porn king, relying on girls abducted and smuggled in illegally from eastern Europe against their will to make his living.

And I claim my 2*ponds.

*Adjusted for the fall of the pond, inflation and panic-mongering.

This is the topic that keep on giving... MDP of course you will come across elements of the media that you perceive to be biased - they will be all the elements that don't agree with your viewpoint.

I imagine the only mainstream newspaper you don't think is biased is the Daily Mail, whose target readership is age 50 and above middle-England conservatives.

It is a big world out there - don't fall into the trap of thinking that the only way to see it is through angry, reactionary glasses. Give a little respect and you'll get some back.

mpd may be angry and reactionary, but at least he's our angry reactionary!
What I can't stand is angry reactionaries who come here from abroad, then do nothing but put us down.

Be glad. Don't you suffer from news overkill sometimes? I do. In fact, most of the time I can't be arsed with it all. Doom and gloom, gloom and doom, and that was before Brexit.

Not like anything I do or say will affect it anyway, and no one is representing me. Which is not a complaint, btw.

I have to agree with mpd72 about media bias, which is why I ridiculed the BBC article about a Brexit pet travel warning. It's relentless propaganda.
More reporting of facts, less journalistic opinion please.
More Katya Adler Wub , less Laura Kuenssberg.

MPD we agree on one thing. The overuse of 'young urban black' chaps spouting street poetry on everything from aftershave adverts to the FA Cup is beginning to get on my nerves too. I'm sure it's just a fashion thing though and it will go away along with grey-on-grey and man-bags.

I can understand why you are getting fed up with the media showing people who don't agree with Brexit - lots of people don't and with the exception of Boris (who has gone quiet pre-leadership challenge), the rest of them aren't newsworthy. Who wants to listen to Michael Gove ffs.

As for me lapping up 'project fear' propaganda, I like to think that I can see past the bullshit. It just happens that I think the Brexit idea is daft and that it will cause more harm than good to everybody in Britain - all for the sake of an attempted further term as PM for Cameron...

You are entitled to your views as am I, but don't get personal with somebody you don't know on the internet because it makes you look a tad foolish.

Banter is healthy. Banter laced with NF/C18/BNP/BF rhetoric however isn't...

It wasn't banter. I really don't think Brexit is a daft idea. Depending on how it is done of course.
