After an agonising 6 week wait, it's finally here!

New exhaust, double bubble screen, heated grips and crash bungs have gone on.

The super Corsa's that came with it have been ditched in favour of Metezler M7 RRs

Tail tidy urgently required, but apparently I'm not allowed to buy anything else for myself before Christmas....

Got the dull running in period to get through, but it already feels like a complete weapon. The quick shift is the smoothest I've ever used, and as for the noise....!!!!!

Feel free to nurse a semi. I know I am.

Looks amazing, I probably shouldn't want one after a recent failed suicide pact with an Aprilia......But I do.

It seems that there is an issue with owning this bike. I was going to ride it to work this morning, then decided it would get too dirty, so took the push bike instead! Laughing

Really need to take an extra man pill!

Rather sexy, particularly the finish on the wheels.

I think the phrase you are looking for is "No, darling, that isn't a new tail tidy, it's the stock one. Honest.".

Oh, and I'll add a "gizza go mister" of my own.

I would second this but I know I'd probably be fucked after 20mins.

That won't cut it I'm afraid, she rides too, and is fully aware of the difference between an ugly stock tail, and a tidied one! Very Happy

On the plus side, she is also fully aware of the importance of such an item, so I have a feeling there may be just what I need in my stocking this year Wink

A very trick and cool V4 litre bike that's different from the norm, and good looking yet quite rare too!

You'd be happy sat in the garage stroking that at night while holding a cold beer, I can't imagine anyone having the same feels over a new R1, it'd be more a case of being scared of the Alien in the garage in the dark, and what it might do when your back is turned.

Shame about your tail tidy situation though, not in terms of wanting to remove the slightly unsexy std one, but in terms of your missus, knowing about bikes, what to look for, and worst still riding them.

I'd want my own exclusive hobby all to myself and would be mortified and distraught if I had to share my interests/hobbies or toys with a partner. Laughing

You'd think so, but we've had a lot of fun over the last few years riding together, and we both have our own groups for for weekend blasts, so we only have to share as much as we can be bothered to.

Also it makes present buying very easy. I just have to think 'what sort of thing would I want...' Laughing

She is keen to get a go on the new bike though. This is becoming a concern... Confused

I've had extensive use of the new Tuono after a good friend has bought one and the V4 engine is sublime. Looks real smart, he's gone for a Austin racing can but I did prefer the arrow like you've got.

Look lovely and sound great. Unfortunately it's only the explodey early bikes that are in my budget. Don't like the Arrow can personally (what's with that bracket holding it to the footrest!?) but I bet it sounds good (especially on launch control).

Staying away from launch control at the moment. I'm at least ATTEMPTING to be a good boy and run it in properly! The can does sound good though, especially when banging it up with the quickshifter Mr. Green

Beautiful! Good choice on the M7's Thumbs Up Austin Racing slip on and it's a proper winner. Just not a fan of Arrow.

I've got to say, I'm very impressed with them so far. Very confidence inspiring on shitty winter roads.

Really enjoying getting used to the new bike. Rather different to the 'Busa I had previously. Starting to try and get used to leaning on the electronics a little bit too Shocked

Tail is now tidied too Cool

I only just put the M7's on my K6 Gixer thou in Nov and straight out the wrapper on cold crap roads they were impressive. Changed the way I ride for sure. Can't wait to see what they are like once it warms up a bit and salts away.
