Hi all

Apologies if this has already been asked 100 times or more but is it neccesary to sync the throttle body on a fuel injected engine?
I'm planning to service my bike in the next week with air filter, oil and oil filter, new plugs etc and thought if it's worth syncing at the same time?
Thanks

As above, yes. If you post what bike it is you may get more detailed advice on whether it's a right faff or not.

The bike is an 02 cbr600f4i, I'll be taking the air box off to do the plugs so thought it would be a good time to do it

If power to the ecu is interrupted then there is a procedure to sync (let the ecu know where min max positions are.

For BMWs (not sure if most machines are similar)
Ignition on.
Turn throttle to max.
Turn throttle to min.
Start as normal.

If not done the engine performance gets a bit lumpy.
