Hi, my riding buddy and I bought a duo-set Packtalk.

We have been told we really enjoy having our SO´s riding pillion, and after spending "all that money on toys" they want to chat as well.

So what kind of set-up is reasonable for us to communicate? We prefer not to lose the advantages of the packtalk(like range), but we are not interested in buying another duo-set, they are not exacly free.

So rider to rider com, with the pillions connected as well.
If it´s easier, we can live with rider to rider, and pillion to rider.

Sena 20S for all the riders and passengers, you can buy twin packs and they'll all link up for a group chat. plenty other features but i'll let you go look them up.

Right. So, throw away the modern ~£500 system we have, and buy two duo-sets (£1000), with three-year old technology? And this is the reasonable, economic solution to communicate with pillions?

Dont get upset with me, you bought the cheap option and now it no longer meets your needs.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

I definately wouldn't buy 4 Baofend UV5R radios for £120 (maybe another tenner per person for a throat mic) and use them somewhere on the 446MHz band...... Wink
