This looks to be a better deal if you don't have the floor space: £80 from £160

And Bitches love a ratchet spanner: £40 from £80

EDIT: Maybe not, I did just order them at £35 I'm sure, but clicking again it's £40. Hmm bitches still love a ratchet spanner.

£40 on their ebay too it seems.

I've got these which I'm happy with:
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172410833055
No lifetime warranty etc, but do get two extra sizes and take up less space.

They also do a double-articulated version for a bit more.

Free tools that come with it are el cheapo, but enough to get someone started if they don't have any :-

I can't see any mention of the free tools? I take it that offer is now gone?

I'm not sure about the free tools - I don't think that red 8 drawer chest came with any, but it does seem Halfords are going a bit
" https://i.imgur.com/8nEnK.jpg "
with the offers (of course, mostly in order to bring down the prices to normal, acceptable ones).

Pjay came up trumps though so I've got some work to do tonight - getting that blue chest into the back of a pug 205 along with a cg125 engine I'm going to pick up.
Then I'll be off to surprise some bitches with my ratchet set.

Is that top box £80 with the tools pictures or just for the box itself?

Also, ratchet spanners are a lie. Bought that exact set in store for £40 six months ago. Got them to email me the receipt because guarantee. Have since taken back the 19mm and 13mm with no quibbles.

Not sure if you mean because rathcet failed or the price reduction - on the latter, that's the same for all of them.
Pretty much, I think you need to start at 50% off as the base price for most of the tools.

I saw a bike advertised in a store with an 'X% off' and in the small print they explained where it had been full price.
It had been full price in so few stores for such a limited amount of time that had you gone into a random halfords store at a random date in that year you'd have had a 1 in 450 or so change of it being full price I think it was.
And of course I'd be willing to bet (at a lot lower odds Smile ) that if you went into the right store at the right time, it wouldn't be prominently on display.

To be fair, at just over £3.50 each, with lifetime guarantees, those spanners are a steal.
I've bought single ones for around £10 a piece.

Oh definitely worth having. Even if the ring end stops working, I've found that the hole in the other end is exactly the same size!

If the ratchet stops working, Halfords will replace it under the no quibble lifetime guarantee.

No reason not to own such a tool with guarantees like that.
