Honda Cg125 crank differences

Wondering if there's anyone out there that knows a bit about these engines?

I'm rebuilding one from a 1999(W) model and have come across some difficulty with parts. I've had the crank sent away to fit a new conrod, ordered one for that model but iit s too wide, 18mm instead of the 16mm one fitted. Parts shop,I ordered it from is adamant that it's the correct one for that year.

The crank bearings differ from the earlier ones too, same internal diameter and width but larger outer diameter. They fit into steel inserts in the case.

I know the W model was only made for a short time, my Haynes manual doesn't have any crank dimensions, searched the Internet for engine specifications for each model but can't find anything....
