cooling system flush?

Hi guys i'm needing a little help with my bike its a piaggio xevo 125

i took apart my cooling pipes to clean them out and what came out was like dirty brown water

is there a way to clean the system out without damages the engine ive never done it before so this is the first

any info would be great

I just stick a hose in the top of the radiator and let it run until it comes out clear from the lowest drain point, which can take quite some time. I know some folk swear by flushing from the bottom up, but ain't nobody got time fo' that.

If it's that bad i would use radiator flush, or at least fill with correct amount of coolant, run up to temperature then drain. Repeat until no longer dirty.
