...... and the BBC still continue to explore every conceivable reason other than the obvious. ......

They should drop the word "news", as I suspect they could be done for trade descriptions .......

Mmm, I was just thinking that we don't have a general purpose snackbar thread. We really can't be making a new one every time they kick off.

Russki ambassador to Turkey got snacked as well, they're having a good day.

And yet Jedi isn't a religion because it does not "promote moral or ethical improvement", does not have "a positive beneficial impact on society in general" and may, in part, have an "inward focus" on its members.

If that's to be the criteria, let's see it applied to all hocus pocus sand wizardry, because I'm really not seeing any positive beneficial impact from islam right now. Ahmadis, as you were.

I thought no one cared anymore with it being a (fairly) regular occurrence now? Also I'm sure everyone wants to see the money shot the news won't show: https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=4de_1482167380

Early reports with the truck 'accident' suggests the driver was of pakistani origin and the (dead) passenger was polish. The truck was allegedly stolen from a building site in Poland. Assuming that's true free movement of people's once again looking like a brilliant idea.

Nothing much to add to the general news updates so far - but i'm in Berlin at the moment and for another couple of days. I was in another market around a mile away when it happened. Besides the immediate area obviously - things seem fairly normal here so far - crowds thinnied in the other market/tourist areas a bit straight afterwards but things are all running as usual transport wise etc. Had the standard "consider staying at home" type warnings issued but the majority of people have seemed to carry on with their schedule around the city for the rest of tonight, albeit obviously checking the news more frequently.

How's the sentiment over there? Kristallnachtish yet?

Going after significant political targets rather than randoms or low level grunts is a new one. I expect it'll be effective too: I don't buy the painfully official narrative that the Brighton bombing "nearly" derailed secret negotiation with Paddy.gov. Of course we never, ever negotiate with terrorists, except that we do when they become effective.

Obviously, the thing to do is ban all celebrations of Christmas as it clearly offends them.

Everytime there is a terror attack journalists at the BBC, Sky and the Guardian rush to the multicultural prayer rooms to pray to Allah that it isn't a Muslim.

One arrest, and they let him go within 24 hours. That's a heck of a short time to satisfy themselves that his fingerprints and DNA can't be found anywhere in or on the truck.

Are they really going to try and false-flag it? They do have form. Thinking

Conspirifying intensifies. Drooling

Watch the end of the BBC news tonight (30 minute mark) Laughing https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b085drqp/bbc-news-at-ten-20122016

Interesting piece just before that about Trump/Brexit.

With something that serious, I was a bit surprised they took his word and let him go, because he had no blood on him.

I'm fully expecting a cover up. They can't afford it to be a Muslim immigrant or social unrest will kick off.

I'm expecting another fix with a very European sounding name and no photo. They started doing this with the machete attacks etc, in Snackbar season.

ISIS going public and claiming it could make the story a bit hard to swallow though.

Like "Paul H" the German stabber in Munich earlier this year, who they stressed was definitely not an immigrant, but clearly not photogenic.

"Paul" the non immigrant German shouted "Aluha Akbar" as he went about his nothing to do with Islam stabby session.

Claimed....

well, two festive seasons in..are the german authorities, in denial.

is being too PC, stopping them dealing from with the issue, as a pure crime
OR
are they so hamstrung by the rather unedifying thought that
the attack and deaths COULD be used against merkel.

Can they even accept at the highest levels, that the refugee issue, MIGHT have been wrong... Confused

If it's A paki refugee, he didn't go in with the ones from Syria.

Just thought I'd mention it.

The only relevance of that is that having a few actual refugees (who have the money to travel and settle thousands of miles away, but not hundreds?) is what's giving the cabal carte blanche to open the borders to every gibs and caliphatist.

I honestly think not. The current cabal will double down on it before admitting that there's a problem, let alone one that needs a robust solution.

And refuted in the same article.

"the crucial question is firstly whether the individual had any form of direct contact with IS"

And what does the answer matter?

The caliphate broadcast an order, and it was carried out. The actions and the outcomes matter, not the chain of command.

What exactly do we do differently if he was carrying his membership card?
