Not fiddled around with my dremel for a while, just wondering whats the best cutting discs for metal they do now? ta

Sliced a can off a downpipe a couple of weeks back. Zero issues. Reinforced will be knackered quickly, don't bother with the standard ones unless you are desperate. Loads of types of them, I used el-cheapo 30mm, come in a pack of 10 (1 was more than enough).

Second the diamond ones- much better than the brown abrasive disc type ones that shatter easily.

I've got a set of small cheap ebay diamond ones and they are very useful and seem hard wearing.

Cheers, had them type ones before and they were okish, maybe i was just expecting too much from them

It's a Dremel, not a chopsaw. They are, when you get the knack of it, a precision tool.

That said, when you get out of the puny 12v, 18v DC range, and into the 100W+ 240v stuff, you can get some good, quick results. Still not a Chopsaw though.
