Hey guys,

Been told 3m 9080 double sided tape is the way to go for peeling tank grips that refuse to stay down, as its quite strong.

Just wondering if anyone's used it before on paintwork and will it fuck up paint work if/when you remove it?

Not to my knowledge, no. It may leave residue but nothing that hot water and a non-scratch tool can't get off - Paintwork should be fine

Fantastic, residue is no problem, just so long as it doesn't rip my paint off Laughing

Thanks mate. Thumbs Up

No prob!

Also just a word of advice, once you put the tape on, try not to get it exposed to water for about a day (trickle is okay but no wash or heavy rain) just to ensure you get the maximum strength from the tape Thumbs Up

We all know Rainpal doesn't exist outside of Aadom's fevered imagination, so the answer is obviously no.
