Car got broken into lastnight, they robbed my wing mirror and that's it. They made it as difficult for themselves as they could by prying the door instead of just sliding the window open and flicking the lock. Makes me think it was just chavs after a joyride. All the other car on the drive where not even touched. Really can't have anything these days Evil or Very Mad

I had a car broken into at university. Screwdriver in the lock, door open, attempt to break the steering lock, twist entire steering column by 180 degrees in the process, abandon car without even taking the stereo. It was a huge mess to sort out, but it felt like I'd been robbed by the Chuckle Brothers.

All that to try to pinch a 4 year old Micra.

Probably the same guys as your lot.

Probably too thick to grasp the concept of a sliding window or the intricacies of landrovers' unusual door locks.

I really have no clue what goes through their heads.

I'd go for a jacketed 7.62 where dense bone penetration is an issue.

I had a bike stolen once, and abandoned a few hundred yards away after they failed to start it.

It didn't even need a key to start it Laughing

In Preston maltesers are like caviar.

I know your pain OP.

Eons ago I had an MG Midget, it got broken into one night, the fukwit theives cut out the rear quarter light in the soft top to get in.
The fact that the soft top was held on with large press studs, that could be undone from outside, didn't enter their tiny little minds. They also failed to notice that the ignition barrel was fubarred and you could start the car with any key or metal implement, it was still on the drive in the morning. Rolling Eyes

I was about to tell a similar story about my mates landrover he used to leave it on a pub carpark over night

tried sticking a brick through the window which didn't work as ex mod with bullet proof glass so bent door to get in

it was a ragtop one and the back door wasn't locked anyway

didn't manage to start it either as 24volt and left empty handed

When they took my daughters SR125 and couldn't start it they torched it. Cunts.

Lived in St Ives (cambs) a few years back, the front window of my 306 got smashed in over night and they just rifled around/through the glove box...
Eventually got another window for around £20, took forever to clear up the mess and they didn't find/take f*cking anything.

A few months later someone said they knew who it would have been, a local drug addict is know for doing in windows for small change but police do grand F-A about him.

What an utter callous cunt to go around breaking windows, costing people no doubt lots of money (wonder how many people bother doing themselves?) all for some fu*ken small change.

Pisses me off more than if they were at least after a radio or something of value Thinking.

Wish we could just wall in Luton and dump these degenerates in there, let them eat each other if they want to behave like c*nts.

When I lived in London my ancient Austin Maestro got broken into. As I walked into the street I could see the driver’s door wide open so thought the worst.

However it turned out they’d unlocked the door with no damage, taken nothing, but dropped a load of small change in the footwell. Even my courtesy light was on the blink so the battery hadn’t run down.

Made about £1.80 Thumbs Up

They'd be doing you a favour if they robbed it, horrible cars.

I had my old Escort Estate broken into once, they popped out a side window without even breaking it and made of with a pair of £10 binoculars and 75p in change. Strangely they left the grands' worth of tools I had in the back.
