I'm looking at this right now and I'm very tempted to buy it for my YBR 125.

https://www.motea.com/en/wind-protection/naked-screens-sport/fly-screen-puig-windy-yamaha-ybr-125-08-16-dark-smoke-i4113-219834-0.htm

Going to be doing 17 mile commute both ways on A roads.

Would it be a good buy for me? Anyone else got a flyscreen and can comment on its effectiveness?

Just fitted my Puig Custom II back on my bike. When I got the bike, it was fitted badly and angled so the wind just hit it square on. I've angled it now, but haven't ridden since the weather's been horrid. I'll let you know once I do.

Yes, it makes a difference to the wind pressure. More so at higher speeds so perhaps more appropriate for bigger bikes where it'll reduce the rider fatigue on longer, faster runs.

On a 125 it'll be more aerodynamic than the bits of you that are behind it and it can help keep some of the rain off.

I had small screens on the two that were nicked; there was a noticeable difference, but you do have to play with the angle to avoid it being directed straight into your face.

Probably going to try one on mine in the new year, even if it takes a bit of the blast off my chest it will be worth it.

never found Flyscreens or Doublebubbles to be any good in my experience, but I have a flyscreen on my MT-09 cos it hides the instrument dial.

I've put one on the bandit, and it made motorway speeds much more relaxing, it did slightly increase wind noise around the helmet... No issue with earplugs though.

I find that while they take a bit of wind off the chest it raises the blast to head height and you get more buffeting, had a touring screen fitted to a tuono but removed because if this. It was awful over 80.

I'm planning on making one for the k100 when I can get around to working on it. The xj600 that I had was faired and the tiny screen built in saved a lot of wind from hitting you.
