Thoughts please.

I just bought a Honda CB400a (Hondamatic). I've just successfully switched the insurance so I can ride it home, but under this reg number it is down as a CB400n Superdream.

Does this matter? Can I get it changed? And should I?

My guess is, it's DVLA and if I try to correct this I'll eventually have to provide paperwork to prove my name is Alice and my Volvo V40 is bottle green.

If it helps, it's a 1980 US import (not sure if grey or otherwise) so I guess the person who first registered it quoted the wrong model number?

As far as the DVLA were concerned, my zxr400 was a zzr400.

I didn't tell them.

My insurance was cheaper.

Thumbs Up

Funny I was just discussing CB400A last night with someone. Gotta be pretty rare nowadays, they were never very popular.

Hi

While the DVLA might well have made a mess, also possible that someone has done a frame swap

All the best

I will see your ZXR400 and raise you my friends Toyota Celica GT4.

The DVLA thought this was a Celica cabriolet!

He kept quiet for the same reasons too Dance!

I'd never seen one before. Only 12 registered apparently and 10 of those SORN.

One of my bikes is 608cc, it came like that from the factory, the cc is actually cast into the barrel.
According to the marvellous DVLA, ( Rolling Eyes ), and their marvellous Logbook it's lost 8cc somewhere and is only a mere 600cc!
DVLA are fukwits, Am I going to inform them of their error, err, no!
