It's always funny when people try to make out moderate parties like UKIP to be racists, but then at the same time they really don't want you to vote for real racist parties like the National Front or Britain First. It's like the Hitler comparison, you risk not making UKIP look more racist, but rather the Britain First more moderate.

That's pretty much what has happened, with the PC brigade branding anyone with an opinion racist, they've actually made people more 'radical' than they would have been.

Anyway I'm still voting UKIP, even if it annoys just one patronising cocktail party class elite its worth it.

If it annoys that individual so much that they call a referendum it can be quite beneficial Smile That's what I find so funny, had Cameron been a man of principal none of this would have happened.

UKIP are irrelevant. You should vote Tory.

The PC Brigade are fucking over

The only ones peddling it now are the socially liberal press and they're slowly becoming more irrelevant going by the likes of what the debt mountain the Guardian has racked up.

With each wave of 'populism' becomes a new norm, Blair in 97 was a massive raft of populism compared to what was then and now it's the norm, going back to sensible politics is now also known as 'populism' and the main parties will realign, so other than being the none establishment party, Ukips beliefs will become the norm and they will become irrelevant.

All the insufferable's will split the vote between the lib dems and whatever Corbyns lot are calling themselves until they grow out of it and finally relies their kind of politics is over and old fashioned.

Brexit is just the first hammer blow to this self loathing, anti British attitude, we either own the debate on being patriotic, or we lose it to the far left and right, Globalism will never ever do away with nation states so we best make the most of what we have.

Oh she wants it. She wants it because it's a precursor to ditching the ECHR and substituting her own act which will allow the state to do whatever they want with no comebacks. She isn't doing a very good job of brexit because that's not the bit she's gagging for, but she still wants it.

I can't decide whether that sounds like a point in a debate or a subconscious personal porn fantasy Confused

All pure speculation and in your opinion, of course.

She fully intends to. She's made a manifesto pledge to ditch the ECHR for the 2020 election.

mpd72 wrote:

You don't have to be in the EU to be under the ECHR.

I didn't say that you did.

Brexit is just the first stage of detaching from Europe. Once that's taken place and we're no longer part of it, she'll be able to get it through because getting rid of anything European will have been going on for a few years prior to that. Most people wont even notice.

She did go very quiet after that one. She obviously thinks it's been forgotten so time to bring back her 'master plan'...

Wow.

Obviously they work to an entirely different definition of "proof" to the one I'm aware of.

Anyway. It would be just like Farrage to apply for a German passport under slightly dodgy circumstances so he could crow about it if he received one.

The exact same reason he publically squanders EU grants and expenses.

All of those cases are triggered by a challenge using the ECHR.

Voting rights for convicted terrorists[*].

Anchor girlfriends / pussies making it impossible to deport illegals, who then bring in their wife, other wife, other other wife, eleventeen kids, and the rest of their extended family.

Or why bother, since we'll pay child benefit to the foreign resident children of UK resident migrants. Because family life, innit.

[*] They can't even make their minds up on that one, ordering us to let all prisoners vote, then saying, eh, maybe not bad ones, but they can all individually appeal. The fact that we've resolutely ignored Strasbourg and have a blanket van on lags voting is both cheery, and shows what a farce it is that we implement any of their random ravings.

I await his asylum claim as a 17 year old Syrian refugee called Osama bin Laden Junior.
