If so they have a greater duty of care as members of the public may use that road.

It is accessible to members of the general public. However, unless anyone had business to be there it's highly unlikely they'd use it as it's a dead end leading to works car park and I'd hazard a guess that anyone doing so would technically be trespassing on private property.

Is there a gate barring people from accessing?
Are there any signs saying you are on private property?

There are no private property signs and there is a gate just past the caravan in the picture, which I've never seen closed in two years.

The public road is just behind me in the photo and just in front of me is where I came off.
