Hi,

Took the bike out yesterday for the first time. Enjoyable but... Clutch was starting to feel tight but also since i took off from the house there is a continuous dry rotation sound from around the front sprocket which is vibrating through the foot pegs. Continues even with the clutch in rolling in gear.

Clutch knackered or could be something else?

Bike off the road now till checked out as I don't want to chance any damage Rolling Eyes

Hi

Agree with Jaffa90. Check the chain first, and also the front sprocket.

All the best

Katy

clutch plates are not going to give you those problems...wet clutch bandit= worst case it slips! if the noise was road speed related then check the chain and sprockets for stiff links/missing rollers or hooked teeth. next would be check the output shaft, rear wheel and sprocket carrier bearings. finally unhook the clutch cable and see if its free. some light lube oil might help here if its been used in the rain etc

Had a 2nd opinion and the chain is too tight as i thought but told it was okay originaly. Clutch is tight too but hopefully will be the cable as it's been sat for a while in a garage before i purchased
