I have finally decided to bring my bike to London. Instead of being outside my flat which isn't the safest, it is instead parked at a friends (in a back garden under cover). However I feel like a chain should still be necessary, especially when travelling around.

I want to ask advice on which chain and lock I should get. It would be interesting to see if you have a favourite for a reason. My budget is no more than £150.

Biggest Pragmasis you can afford (and want to lug round), remembering you'll need a hefty (Squire) padlock to deal with the bigger chains.

Search for Almax or Pragmasis on here chum. It's been done so many times, and there's loads of threads with really good advice.

Remembering that Almax spammed us via a shill account, and Pragmasis didn't, so there's that.

another vote for pragmasis Thumbs Up

Received mine recently. Even the level of thought in the packaging of the anchor/lock and the fitting kit had me smiling. Sure, it was expensive, but no doubt it is worth it

There must be a joke relating to how so and so likes his chains like his women.

Large diameter and very heavy....

I'm just not man enough to make it.
