WANTED: Cheap bike or project

Hello,

After a cheap bike, anything 600cc+ ideally sports.
Only wanting to spend circa £1k but will go up to say £1500 - I'll be upgrading in the summer hence low budget.

EDIT: It does not need to be working, I lose my NCD in March if I don't have a bike insured!
