No, we used to do it when we were 10 y.o., knock on the snotty neighbours door and run away and hide.

Should you extend the offer of pulling over and "having a chat" about the cagers driving style, then at least have the stones to do pull over and have said chat. Pissing off after acting the hard man makes you look like a wanker. Trying to brag about it makes you look more of a wanker. The fact that you're heat to toe in armour and still fucked off, make you look like an enormous wanker.

It's always better to just smooth things over if you're in the wrong, or, alternatively, meet a verbal attack with words of your own. If you're angry enough to get physical, get physical and try to limit it to one-on-one fisticuffs with no weapons.

If the guy is as angry as you say, he'll probably think of himself as a tough guy over his beer now because you 'ran away' (the way he remembers it), and will keep his eyes peeled for you on the road, or will be dangerous and/or inconsiderate to other motorcycle riders just to vent his rage. For all you know, he isn't getting any action at home or is scouring the Plenty of Fish ads and wondering why he isn't getting any replies or why his life is so crap. Don't forget the goto10 guy and KTM man. Whatever the problem is, it's better to deal with it there and then.

Idea

Get into road rage fites and tell them that your name is Adam Aarons. Shout a bit about internet trolls and LinkedIn connections to make it a genuine Aarons rage.

Many many many bonus points if it gets reported to da police. Mr. Green

It's like the old saw for someone being a pain in the arse at a party.

"Right, I've had enough of you pal. Outside! Now!"

*Gets up to follow behind as they walk out. Shuts and locks door as they exit.*

"Right, that's got rid of him."

My favourite is the "Pardon... I heard you the first time!" though. Let them have a rant. When they appear to have finished say "Pardon?". Wait for them to repeat themself then muster all the sarcasm you can garner and say "I heard you the first time!". Be ready to run.

I'd rather have several mates and weapons. Laughing
Picking a fight with a total stranger is as unpredictable as it gets, especially if turns out to be a van full of pikeys (had a mate who did exactly that, and then had to run several lights to get away).

I remember a red faced chump shouting expletives at me from his 3 series convertible. He looked so stupid I couldn't help laughing at him. He went proper mental, which just made it even funnier. Thumbs Up

Indeed....

London is full of angry motorists like this one and i don't intend to be one of them.

I'm certainly not going to get into fights over name calling, i gave that up in secondary school.

I find it best to not let myself get wound up when riding tbh.

In the past when I've gone all rage face at someone, I've found that I usually end up messing up on the bike and nearly having an accident because I'm too focused on them and not my own safety/riding.

I prefer to keep calm and at most, just give them a friendly/sarcastic wave or thumbs up.

If you don't want to get into fights, don't offer people out, flip them the bird and rag off. Just let it go and carry on with your day.

One day, someone's going to give less of a shit about rules, traffic etc than you do and catch you, or you stall the bike, drop the bike or whatever, hey presto, you're getting your head kicked in.

If you can't back it up, don't spout it.

Who?

+1 to keeping your regular commute route free of recriminations. As per Paddy's bonnet surfing, Dibble give precisely zero fucks about the attempted murder of bikers.

Warrington.

There's always much rageness to be had there for some reason.

Noted.

The only rage incident I can recall was a taxi driver in Bedford.
He was in a left turn lane on the approach to a roundabout but went straight on.
No big deal because I saw what he'd done but when he tried to undertake me I looked at him and shook my head.
He shouted 'What you gonna do?'
My response was to make him a tiny dot in my mirror.
I'm not too fussed if others think they've won tbh, as long as it doesn't spoil my ride.

Just shake our head in disapproval/disbelief and move on.

If they give you more shit, just keep shaking. don't bother getting into an argument, no point at all in that.
