Doing some prospective quotes and a thought struck me. During my accident last year I was injured, but I only made a claim for the bike not the injury.

Does this need to be declared? Or are they more interested in injuries that cost them money? Is it better to be safe than sorry and have them using it to get out of paying if I do need to claim?

Don't tell them a damn thing. If only you know something how does it affect anyone else?

You can't make a claim for injury from your own insurance policy. Wink

Laughing quite right, what I meant was that in the section about accidents there is a question about injuries but I never told the insurance about it.

Well there is a police report about it, so if they had a mind they could find out about it.

I suspect the wording is something along the lines of "Have you claimed for an injury on any insurance in the last X years?"

Emphasis mine. Re-read the question Wink

In the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard'.

No. Do not tell them anything.

If you're really bothered, you can find out what the insurance cartel knows about you, but it will cost you £10.
