Test costs

Hi guys ,new on here.How much can you expect to pay to do your full motorbike test ? Use of their bikes and to include the 2 tests etc ,,all in. Cheers .

Our 4 day course including a CBT is £700.

If you have a CBT its £580.

I paid £650 all in ((bar mod 1 re test) for about 24 hours worth of lessons and tests.

I went from 0 (pre-cbt) to Hero (well sort of - A2) for about £850 all in, including a Mod 2 retake. That included 4.5 days training on schools big boy bike. Cbt alone was I think 100-120ish?

I suspect a more competent person or one with time on a 125 could shave 2 days and 400 ish off that.

It's all subjective to the individual and company. On that note tell us what company you're going with and you'll get a more accurate cost rather than random figures of what we once paid.

Again it comes down to you "re: how much do I pay?" because who knows how many days training you'll need or re-attempts at tests until you try.

Sensible answer aside, I'd guesstimate £500-£800 all in.

Don't get scared by the costs because it's all done over a lengthy period of time. Well, unless you want to splash the cash.

.. And no, you never stop spending money when you've got a bike. Yes, there is always something else.

Depnds on how long the course is (so your level of riding), and what offers are on. I did mine with a pal, 3 day course for £336 each with a special offer. Normally I'd expect to pay £400-600.
