How can I scrap a bike frame?

SORN is currently indefinite, but it hasn't always been, and may not be that way forever.

You've got nothing to lose by writing to them and saying "Scrapped, legit". I wouldn't even bother with a stamp.

The document doesn't forbid you 'self scrapping' the vehicle, it simply doesn't mention it and there's nothing on the document that gives you the opportunity to indicate that you have 'self scrapped'!

As I said previously, cut into bits, put bits in the bin and SORN it!
I've done it before, there have been no comebacks!

That does make sense as the last V5 I had was about 2 years ago or so, but the one I had previously (still the large multi-coloured affair things) did have the "scrapped" box with text along the lines of "do not tick this unless you have personally destroyed the vehicle, do not tick if passing to scrappy etc" , you know what I mean anyway. Smile
