Been struggling to find the cause of my Bandit's rough running in the rain.

Checked loom/ wiring/ connectors - no obvious signs of damage (got wd40'd anyway)

Poked around in the drain holes - seemed dry

On the way in this morning it started to misbehave, so i gave the bike a shake an it fixed itself.

So I stopped an prodded an poked an found No.2 plug is looser than a smack heads morals...... Shocked

I'm guessing when it gets wet its shorting to the head?

Looking inside the plug there looks to be a spring/ clip/ what-cha-maflip - is there anything I can do, or is it a case of just replacing the cap(s)

What's actually loose? You flip between it being the plug and the cap.
I take it you mean the cap on the end of the HT lead that fits over the spark plug is loose?

Unless it's simply down to a missing screw top on the plug (which I don't think the bandit usually has anyway) then it's probably new plug cap time.

Sorry, I mean the cap.

Looks like Bandit's use specific caps as the generic NGK's are too short Thumbs Down

Will have a look on Robinson's

cheers all

Probably not a bad idea to replace all at the same time if you want to ensure reliability.
