|
|
Been struggling to find the cause of my Bandit's rough running in the rain.
Checked loom/ wiring/ connectors - no obvious signs of damage (got wd40'd anyway)
Poked around in the drain holes - seemed dry
On the way in this morning it started to misbehave, so i gave the bike a shake an it fixed itself.
So I stopped an prodded an poked an found No.2 plug is looser than a smack heads morals......
I'm guessing when it gets wet its shorting to the head?
Looking inside the plug there looks to be a spring/ clip/ what-cha-maflip - is there anything I can do, or is it a case of just replacing the cap(s) |

Unless it's simply down to a missing screw top on the plug (which I don't think the bandit usually has anyway) then it's probably new plug cap time. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
