About 7 really, my FI CBR300RA has been sat in my garage for 4 weeks now since before xmax while the shitty effects of my chemo wear off, I cleaned it spotless and polished it before putting it away, i also filled it to the brim with Esso premium and then it went on its stand, I also hooked it up to my CTEK charger. I tried starting it last night and it didnt even catch after 5 attempts so i gave a little bit of revs and it tried but with a clanky sound after 3 more attemts it started and ran rough, almost felt like it wasnt firing right and stalled after slight rev, so I took it for a quick ride and when I got back it seemed ok, now my question is could it be the condentsation I get in my concrete garage with its metal roof or is the fuel going off so soon?, I thought it would have no problem starting with it being fuel injected, my carbed CG started easier lol. I think it will have to have a ride once a week now.

Thanks

Since you already did everything right, and it's riding fine now, I wouldn't worry about it.

The fuel won't have gone off, and presumably premium wasn't chock full of ethanol and water. Since we're guessing randomly, I'll go with a slightly clogged injector which cleaned itself out as fresh fuel flowed through it.

I'd recommend that in future you should keep doing exactly what you're doing. Thumbs Up

Did you run the premium fuel through?

I looked on a few forums and it seems the esso Synergy+ has no ethanol in it so I fill up once a month with that, this was June last year, jaffa90 its .5 mile from my house to where i fuel up.
I will just start it every week, oil has only been in about 600 mile but i will change it before im back on road.
