Do you think a YBR coil will fix this?

It's red, it will automatically add 10mph. Which in your case should get you up to... 10mph.
The semi-serious answer is that it's marketing blurb. I fitted one to my copybike for a laugh (and on the tenuous reason that a random intardtuber reckoned the stock ones were rubbish), it achieved nothing. It may even have contributed to bad running after sustained high revs. Probably because it was every bit as rubbish as the stock one.
Mine was orange though, so would only have added 5mph, tops. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Did you replace it with a YBR engine?
Oh, I've just remembered! Mine was actually red and orange.
https://2.bp.blogspot.com/__DYtEEjm5wE/SgSLvptpfMI/AAAAAAAAAE4/0Rvl7yQc-mM/s1600/coil.jpg
I fitted it because the plug caps on the stock ones were actually claimed to cause problems with arcing and RF interference. Not that I had any basis for believing that the replacement was any better. But... red and orange.
tl;dr version - don't replace it if it ain't broke. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

One of the reasons they are used is when running compression so high that a spark can't form in the cylinder or using a plug with a bigger gap you can't get a spark at the stock coil voltages.
The super high performance coils generally makes the voltage higher.
So the point I'm making is that you need to add a high flow pod air filter and a high performance coil to really feel the difference. Sometimes with all the added air flow and big sparks your cylinder pressure will be too high so you need to loosen the spark plug by about 2 turns.

That seems... reasonable. I did some physics, so my gut instinct is to consider everything to be spherical and in a vacuum. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
