Nice, loves a freebie me. I believe they give away these titles as they're soon to be removed from steam, I got GRID & Dirt 3 free last year which have been removed from sale.

Do you play with a pad or wheel? I found the FFB a bit rubbish with 3, I'll try Showdown and see if it's any better.

I got dirt 3 after seeing it on here. I was just finishing Dirt 2 at the time (still marked as Colin McRae Dirt 2) I can play it perfectly well with a PS2 dual shock style gamepad. Analog sticks are one of the greatest things to happen to gaming.

[edit] Just played it... It's pretty good. I like Dirt 3 better from first impressions, but it's worth it for being free and I also got Doom (the new one) for £13.

Dirt 3 only just got updated for using steam to, instead of windows live.

As for FFB with a wheel, it's not that good but I'm still better with it than a controller.

Showdown is just a fun arcadie type of game. More fun with other players as the AI drivers are just too easy.
