Are the O-rings on the coolant tubes that go into the engine specialised in any way? Heat resistant or what have you?

I ask because I have would like to get the bike back together (more or less) tomorrow but I don't know when the official O-rings I ordered will arrive. I do however have some bog standard 14x2mm O-rings that seem to fit; it's hard to tell the exact dimensions since the old ones have become a sort of flattened torus, but I have both larger and smaller ones but I have seen a couple of part listings of the O-ring at 14mm.

I'd as soon get on with getting it back together unless there is a compelling reason not to (the ratio of time in pieces:time on road for this bike is not good so far),

looking at this it's part number 670B2014 which cross references here as 14mm ID x 2.4mm material diameter.

Also cheap.

I got my last pair from these guys :
https://www.cornwallkawasaki.co.uk/shop/shop.php?cmd=showdiagram&id=17298
(part no 670 - scroll down to near the end of the list)
They came within a couple of days. (free postage too)
Don't forget to smear a decent amount of red rubber grease on them before refitting the pipe.

Cheers guys, they arrived and no coolant leaking as of yet.

With regard to the size, measured with the calipers they are ID 14 x 2.4mm, which is exactly the same as the bog standard ones out of the general assortment I have.

No visible difference either, worth keeping in mind in a pinch I suppose, though at 50p each its worth having a few in hand.
