Honda pantheon 125 project starting problems

Hello I have been restoring a Honda pantheon 4 stroke over winter I have had the engine out and fitted new piston and barrel. The bike was a non starter when I bought and on inspection seized. However, bike almost back togethet apart from Tupperware. I tried starting tonight the engine cranked over and ran with starter assistance but would not start. Things I have checked are:-
Spark plugs sparks well.
Good compression.
Believe timing correct - dark now so cannot check.
No mil lights.

Any things to try not in a rush got four wheels for cold.

Have you tried easy start / carb spray direct into the air intake?
Was the spark plug wet with fuel after trying?

Hi the engine did run the exhaust was getting warn it died when starter stopped. It would run but not keep running. I will check tomorrow for air leaks etc. Just a thought could the timing be one rotation out ...4 stroke 2 revs and still try to run?

My problem seems to suggest that I must reset the IAC to do this I either get DLC short connector which I cannot source or physically short two of the four pins in the DOC connector. Does anybody know please which colour wire pin I short.
