Not sure how far away you are, but The Motorbike Shop in Farnborough have a R6 in:

https://www.themotorbikeshop.com/yamaha-locator.aspx?attributes=Make|Model&values=YAMAHA|YZF%20R6&savestate=no

They're also a Yamaha dealer

Tim,who owns the shop in Blindley Heath,is a good friend of mine.He has sold several bikes to other friends of mine who I have accompanied to the shop to mull over what he has in stock, not only in the main shop but also outside in a separate lockup.

The bike clothing shop next door has a good selection of gear as well Thumbs Up Smile

And they let members of the public waltz into the workshop, take a bike key from the locker and ride off on a punters bike. This is what happened to a friend's GSXR1000K6 that was in for a front master cylinder replacement on a recall Confused

I'd be expecting a replacement bike out of them fairly sharpish if it were mine.

my local garage keeps the keys in a quality street tin which he takes home with him on a night. Keys are labelled but not with reg or make / model so even if you've got the tin, you'd be having to try each key.

only shops i trust in london are:
MH motorcycles in Bromely https://www.mhmotorcycles.co.uk/
D M P Performance in Wallington
Lamba Motorcycles in Charshalton https://www.lambamotorcycles.co.uk/

Lamba are official Yamaha dealers and are very pricey and very good at what they do

MH (Mark & Darren) & DMP (Dan) have always gone that extra mile for me even when they didnt have to and there workmanship is always spot on and not over priced

Lamba are a good shop, almost bought a TDM900 from them before I realised that would involve owning a TDM900. Housemate has taken his Fazer there for a few bits and it's always come back right.
