Hi folks

Have a bitcoin wallet (I have the address). I also have an 8 word seed, and pretty sure it was an Electrum wallet I used originally. Can't access it now using the 8 word seed to restore.

Any suggestions? Inb4 lost forever.

IIRC, there is an "old" electrum version which accepts the 8 word seed and you can still get hold of this software somewhere.

Do some googling for 8 word seed and look for the old version.

Tried all the old ones available up to 2.0, still no joy.

Checked a word list available, and some don't appear on the list. Sad

Have you checked both the BIP39 and BIP44 word list? Not even sure if they are different, but worth checking.
