Hey, a quick question for those that may know.

I am about to put a deposit on a zx7r I viewed yesterday, however the current owner moved into a new address 2 weeks ago, and has filled the v5 out with his new details for the change of address.

Where does that leave me? Will I have to wait for him to send it off as is and send it to me afterwards? Or can I simply cross out his new details and attach a note with both of our signatures and my details and send it off as is?

Cheers

He can do it all online, no need to send anything off. You take the V5C/2 new keeper slip (tax it using the number on that, and in case DVLA nob up and don't send you a new V5C), he just shreds the rest, job done.
